If your answer is YES, then I cannot push you more.
But can you try the next question?
Another question...
With you existing career, previous successes, your lifestyle, your health - do you want more or what's next for you? Are willing to try new adventure?
That's it! If your answer no then this post is not for you... :-)
I am proud of you! And I am happy to know that you are few of those who have made it their goal. Congratulations!
By the way here's my opinion to answer the question of Why Should You Not Join a Network Marketing Business or Be an Entrepreneur?
1. No Boss
You know what? It scares people to have a demanding and toxic boss but it is also scarier to have no boss. Because in Network Marketing, the business model is unique, it's only been in the market for 50 years plus years now, people are scared to lead and take control of their own their lives.
But there are also bolder people calling themselves new breed of entrepreneurs who are taking the risk of becoming their own boss and completely having the ownership for their potentials to make a living.
2. No Alarm Clock
You are your own boss right? It means you can decide for your own work schedule. Well, if you are someone used to having an alarm clock on a beautiful Monday morning - you might find it difficult here.
In this business we are responsible for our own goals, we set our own working hours and we decide on which days to work.
3. No Fixed Workplace
Most people love to be in the cubicle. They want to be in an air-conditioned room and stay in the same environment for 5,10,15 or even 20 years.
I think it's nice that you know the duration to travel to and from your office. It's a comfortable zone because you know that you will have to go to the same place rain or shine, 6 days a week or more.
By the way, for the past 3 years now - my workplace is at Starbucks, my room, I have tried working in Bali, in Dubai, LA, San Francisco, Singapore and any location of my choice. And the only fixed their is I used the same computer or phone as my tool in working and connecting to customers. (Travel is optional and at your personal expense by the way.)
4. No Target
Yes in Network Marketing there is no target if you do not have any financial goal and no obligation. Just in case you will meet the optional target then you will have the chance to be paid or to even travel for free. But basically it's no work no pay, and more work more pay. If you have a big dream - you need to make it work by working seriously.
On the other hand, some opportunities outside Network Marketing have targets. At first they will offer you a "basic pay" then commission-based compensation. If you hit the target then good, if not - what do you think? Can you be replaced? Will you be demoted? Or will your boss shout at you? I am not really sure - maybe it's fun.
But do you think it's nicer if you will be able to increase your expected income based on the amount of job you are willing to exert and production you are able to bring in?
5. No Chance of Becoming a CEO
Definitely yes!
But do you know what? The chance of becoming a CEO in a company is also thin. Many in your organization are competing to get there. So if there are 1000 employees, your chance is 1:1000. That is true if your company will not hire external talent to be the CEO, if so the chance is 0:1000.
Well in Network Marketing it's a blue ocean. Your chance is dependent on your capacity to lead and create leaders and grow an organization with active orders or product consumption. And your compensation is largely dependent on the actual production created under your organization.
You don't become CEO here but you can be earning like a CEO or more once you developed that necessary skills to succeed. Do you want a growing income potential or only a nice title?
6. New Culture
If you are ok with routine then this is really not for you. But if you want new culture, new ways of doing business, new environment to support others or to find your creativity - Why Should You Not Join a Network Marketing Company?
By the way, I am not against any method of making a living. I respect you for choosing you job. In sharing this post, it's a personal opinion based on my own realizations and it's never addressed against any specific organization.
But let me be honest with you I am a Network Marketing Professional for over 5 years now. And I am happy to do it. I hope to show this amazing industry!
If you want to see change, why are you doing the same things?
Here are some of my extra tips just in case you are willing to explore the options available in Network Marketing:
1. Research for the right company with good track record, with consumable products and with unique selling proposition.
2. Team support, leadership and culture are just few of the factors to help you - choose your mentor, a mentor seriously willing to help you.
3. Is it scalable? Can you grow a global business legally?
4. Be careful with some illegitimate company offering an opportunity promising that you do not need to work, to sell or do anything - there is no such thing as easy and quick money in a legitimate network marketing.

*If you are looking to earn an extra income as a Network Marketing Professional, either part-time or full-time, you will incur expenses, as in any other business. You need to understand that the realistic income projection is very dependent on the amount of work, commitment and effort you are willing to exert.
Direct Selling / Network Marketing offers opportunity for growth and development but your progress will always be dependent on the amount of work and commitment you put into it.
