In this guide, I will share my best social media marketing tips that will show you how to properly use social media as a platform in getting more exposure, leads and sales for your business, product or service.

There are people who are doing well in social media marketing but there are also many who are struggling to get the result they want.

Being in social media for almost 10 years now, I must say I have grown up with it and saw it rose to its massive changes and contribution to the online community.

Before I share them, I want to ask you this question;

Here Are My 5 Social Media Marketing Tips;
Tip #1: Don’t be intimidated with the vastness or complexities of Social Media. 

Technical skills and strategies to succeed in Social Media are learnable and more accessible now than before.

It is the new currency to the survival of your business, so be willing to explore in it.

Internet is empowering us, and it's also disrupting the existing system. This is how it works before, for you to get a massive reach at a single time and appearance, you need to be on Mass Media - TV, Radio or Newspaper and it is a very expensive advertising strategy.

But now, you can easily setup your online account and reach your target market globally for 24/7 with almost no cost.

Tip #2: Stay high touch while trying high tech.


Your market in Social Media has emotion, so build relationship rather than pure publicity. 



Marketing is relationship. You cannot sell something without trust, without being reliable or winning their confidence.

Tip #3: Create value to create customers.

As much as possible win them at any opportunity to keep them.

1. You promote. That is building the awareness.

2. You educate and guide. That's is where relationship  building begins. The more problems you solve, the more questions you answer and the more value you give - the the higher the opportunity for you and your products to be marketable. And that is also how others find you!

3. You convert. Conversion into sale is another stage but it is not the final stage. The problem with other businesses is it's only focusing on transaction. Once the transaction is completed that ends there. Monitoring, updating and incentivizing  customers will help you to stand out and keep your customers' loyalty.

4. You innovate and upgrade. The world is changing, join the world as it finds answers to improve the way we live. The faster you can identify problems and find solutions, the better your chance will be in leading the next opportunities to be created.

Tip #4: Customers choose a brand and stay with that brand for the 3 M's - the message, the messenger and the medium.

Have a lasting message to your costumers, is it speed? simplicity? health? quality? cost? high standards? value? happiness? 

Be the go to person. Messengers live the message too. If they see it in you, the will buy it. If they love the messenger, they will stay and use it again and again.

The medium, you can have the best product or service but if you are not found by your target market - you will grow slowly or even not survive longer. Go to the platform your target audience is using.

Tip #5: Post what they want to see, hear, feel and experience.

It is not about you but it is about them. You can help them find out what they are missing but always start by promoting something that they are looking to find out or to know.

"You cannot easily sell Sushi to a vegetarian." If you want more sales, give them what they want.
