The Keys to Achieving your Success in any Opportunity

Everyone are beginners but not all are empowered to finish the same. We all have our own beginnings and the way we handle them define us and our success later on.

As Les Brown have said, "You don't need to be great to get started but you need to start to be great."

I was 23 years old when I first entered into the world of sales and marketing. It was one of the major turning points of my life. 

Seeing my life today, I would have not made or lived the way I am living now without those decisions in my past.

The key to anything in life is DECISION. 

You have to decide on what you truly want regardless of the limitations you have in your current situation. 

Most people are trapped in a situation of limited opportunity, smaller pay, no chance of starting a business or even no opportunity to get promoted in their workplace.

But is this really something that we cannot change?

There 2 types of people in this opportunity-world filled, the people who make each opportunity work and people who make excuses on each opportunity.

I am not sure of which side are you. But your situation today is not accidental but the result of how you respond to things given to you. The best life does not happen by chance but by choice.

As soon as you have made the decisions, do not stop there. 

Find out how can you start.

Success deserves work, it deserves commitment. Some people are too concern on avoiding failure without knowing that being afraid of failing is the beginning to failure itself.

The best way to overcome failure is to just do it. 

Do not expect change if you are not willing to change.

Commit  to a lifelong learning.

Be willing to learn and acquire the necessary skills, the steps and the system to do it.

I remember when I first got my job as a Duty Manager abroad. It was a huge challenge for me.

First, the culture. Second the environment changes and even the role of managing people from different generations.

But I had to make a living for my family so I persevered. 

Look at success as if your life depends on it, because it does.

Mastery is not necessarily required at first but repetition makes you a master.

So when I was given the opportunity to run an international business I took the challenge and made it as a vehicle in achieving my dreams and passion.

I studied the company and products, the industry, the people who have made it and the trends in the industry.

Having the VISION is very important. 

If you cannot see the future then the future is too far or too impossible to make.

The best way exercise and prepare is to imagine how big, how extraordinary and how promising can your future be if you make it. Doing this makes you comfortable with the size of your future.

Then stick to it. Never stop working and improving yourself to get there.

Good mindset is another ingredient.

I conditioned myself that someday I am going to become an international leader.

I have trained myself to learn to shake hands, to smile, to stand like a top leader and even speak with conviction.

I have forced myself to stay and think positive regardless of how negative the situations can be.

Did it help me?

The answer is up to us. 

Negativity will not help you for sure but only lead you towards complaining, comparing and even quitting. 

You do not want that right?

Success is a timeline but it does not end at one point.

It's like an open roof,  as we get the first level, we become more driven to work for the next.

So be prepared and willing to embrace new things. 

Am I successful? 

Considering yourself successful will only make your head bigger.

I'm just starting. 

I am just the 23-year old boy who decided to work for my dreams.

And success for me is not counted on the outcome alone but the process in getting there.
