Anyway I own them too so I will not judge you for wanting that cool gadget.
The purpose of this blog is to teach you how to make a return of investment from your expensive purchase.
Millennials are really smart with money, they ask before they spend. Is it going to make me happy? Is a primary question. Or will it increase my value and serve my purpose? Will it give me a rewarding future? Can it pay for my travel goals or help me secure my investments?
Let me ask you why did you buy your first gadget? How did you use your MacBook?
You see? You buy it because it's in the trend but did you really use it well? Here's a sample story on how I get 12X and even more return from this purchase.
I purchased my first MacBook 13 months ago, it was worth around $1000. My first question with this purchase was, "Is it going to be an expense or investment?" How I used it?

I love to write, so the first thing I did was becoming a Blogger. I started writing about my selected forte. I created my websites with separate focus - from travel, to marketing, to personal development.
Then I monetized them through ads.
Profitable: Yes but still trying to grow it more.

I love to write, I told you. So on the same year I also written an e-book which I sold at $1 each making me a self-made $1 earner with its first purchase and of course an Author.
Profitable: Yes but I need more exposure.

I have an existing marketing business. I am selling a product under direct selling model and I distribute the products to over 20 countries. This cool gadget gave me a real home-based business allowing me to prepare and work anywhere I am in the world with the marketing tools, customer trainings and education info, product campaigns and advertising.
Oh yes, I do this at most Starbucks Shops if not from my house or hotel room.

I am an affiliate marketer too, I share my travel experience or personal product experience with some of the products I use. Once customers will buy from my links I also get paid a small amount.

13 months later, I am still using this MacBook but with more use. Number 5 is a developing story and I am just excited with what it can do in the future. I am using it to buy stocks for my investments, I just started my clothing retail business as well with zero capital :-) , I am also working on some startups now - from website, media and trainings. That is aside from still being active in the Direct Sales Profession.
The additional projects might work or not but I hope to work with you in any of the projects that we can agree later on.
Literally, my work is through my computer and also my iPhone And I hope as Millennial worker, you too will have your own success story using this cool gadgets.
It's trendy to own a gadget but it's not smart to use it for Facebook or Youtube without making something out of it.
To look good is not good. But to be profitable is always nice because it will help you look good.
