How Do You Build Momentum?

In this guide, I will be sharing my momentum builder guide  to help you in designing your activities and strategies to grow your network marketing business.



When was the last time that your sales team did a major or massive production?

There is a roller coaster of emotion and of result  in our business. If your team is not growing, there is a possibility that your team is dying. And you need to create a momentum to prevent that!

What is a Momentum?


In your network marketing business, momentum building is a very important stage. Effectively activating it will help you grow your team and create credibility as a leader and also sustain your business growth.

Momentum is about creating a personal commitment towards a goal and influencing your team in the process to also aspire to achieve their personal goals.

How do you create Momentum?

Momentum is created from doing massive activities in a specific time frame to produce the expected result.

But how? Remember this formula.

The formula is simplified for you to be able to easily remember it and for your team to efficiently understand it.
Here Are 3 of the Things that I Consider in Building Momentum;
A Story:

When I made a goal to grow a pioneer team in our company expansion in Indonesia, it was a decision that I needed to work out.

I had 2 goals that time.

TEAM GOAL: My goal was to create the large team with at least 20 leaders within the first 2 years from our market opening. 

PERSONAL GOAL: To achieve my executive title and complete my first *6 figure income in the business.

Because I had my clear goals, I then identified and work on my action plans.

- Moving to that location.
- Connecting to the community.
- Creating tools relevant for the market.
- Focusing on revenue generating activities.

The result? I came back home with my executive title and having a growing team until today. The highest rank is 2 ranks higher than my own title.

Key #1: Have a Goal.

Don't just say it. Write it and work for it.

What is your business goal in the next 6-12 months?

Is your goal S.M.A.R.T.?

It has to be SPECIFIC, MEASURABLE, ATTAINABLE, RELEVANT and TIME-BASED.

Here is an example;

Goal: Rank Advancement to Director in the next 6 months.

If your goal is to rank advance to a certain title, you need to measure the required production or input to get there.

Key #2: Action Plan

To help you identify your action plan, I will give you this questions;

1. How much sales  do you need to bring to achieve that?
2. How much time and effort is required to bring that sales?
3. How many prospects should you meet? close and guide to speed up the process?
4. With your current experience, what skills and trainings do you need to know to improve your production?
5. Where else must you go to expand your network?
6. When must you achieve it?
7. Who else in your team can you bring with you in this process?
8. What activities and incentives can you do to encourage your team to participate?
9. Why must you do it?

Here is the template to help you extract more answers;


Again, I do not want you to just say it. Do it.

As you identify your action plans, it is no just a plan. That why it called ACTION PLAN because you need to take action.

Until When Should I Try?


Some people who will set a goal and take the action plan might quit doing it along the way. And that separate a loser to a winner. 

Give your full commitment into it. Whenever I set a goal, I will give myself 3-6 months to achieve it. Within that time-frame I do not entertain other distractions but I give my focus, effort and commitment only to it until it is done.
Key #3: The Result

As you desire, so it will be.

Just because you don't see the immediate result, it does not mean that you cannot make it. It took me 2 years to build my business. Do it with consistency!

Momentum is an energy created from doing massive actions with intensity. 

That energy can never be destroyed or created. It exists but you need to use it. Use your energy wisely. Be with the people who are consciously working to achieve their goals.

Are you with me? Don't do it with low energy, do it with excellent energy and action.

Your mind, body and spirit must be into it.

The way you do it, will attract your team to take action with you.

You are the source of that energy, you share it with vibe, with gratitude and with excitement.
