How to Achieve Your Multi-million Pesos Income in Network Marketing

Open minded ka ba? (translated as "Are you open minded?")

A very common question asked by someone who is into Network Marketing or a joke by someone who is against it. 

Regardless of its meaning, I really did not use it in inviting. Such phrase is only used by unskilled Network Marketers.

This statement might be opposite to what your upline leader is teaching you but you cannot become successful by simply asking this "open minded" question. Real success in this business comes to those people who developed the skill of asking the right question and acquired the right mindset to express themselves with the right confidence on their potentials.

"Everyone can be a prospect but not all the time. I want to invite the thinkers but not the skeptical and the sarcastic."

I have grown up in this business, teaching me the lessons and the skills needed to survive in its difficult yet exciting opportunities.

When I was first introduced to Network Marketing, I was only 23 years old. I had no skill, no experience, no capital and no customer. I am not special, I am just like you.

So if you are new, welcome to the industry!

To show you the journey to earning how I earned my income I will give you 5 questions for you to follow.



Question #1: Are you in this industry to become a product user or a business builder?


Network Marketing has its interesting reputation at some point, it could be a fishy game for those who came here for quick-rich scheme but it's also proven to be a good business model creating successful billion dollar companies globally.

It is over-promised by some small sighted and low skilled "leader wanna be's."

There are people who could become a victim of an illegal Network Marketing company or even a Pyramid Scheme. That is why it is important to check if the company and the person you are working with, is reliable and is registered business entity in your country of membership.

I will be direct with you. Just like any other industry, it is not possible for someone to become millionaire without dedicating the time and the effort to build their  business.

A user uses the product and pays for whatever products he or she consumes, while a business builder builds the business and gets paid for whatever sales is generated through his/her effort under his/her business account.

Not because you have an account, you are already a business builder. And you cannot become a business builder overnight, just like any other profession you need to study it.

This business is based on effort, on how much time and commitment you are giving it. 

A good point to remember if you've heard about it but you need more information. It cannot be called a scam when there was no effort made yet someone expects to earn a commission. But you can call it a scam, when there was an amount paid but where was no product received.

So are you a product user or a business builder?

Here's a good tip for you. Don't join a Network Marketing company with products that you do not believe or use because this type of business involves promoting the products to your network.


Question #2: What are the Basic Steps to Succeed in Your Network Marketing Business?


If you are to join today, step number one is: Know your WHY.

Why are you here? What for?

Employment was my previous vehicle for my dreams but it was just not enough for me. Regardless of how big the effort I was giving, my income was capped up to the level that my employer is willing to pay me. I respect all of my employers for the opportunities but my needs were growing, my responsibilities were growing so I must increase my income potential.

I was looking for sufficiency and freedom.

Knowing where you are going will help you identify the road to take.

Step number two is: Be TEACHABLE.

Have an empty cup attitude to learn about it.

Your previous successes outside Network Marketing might be or might not be useful.

Someone already walked the road that you are about to take, and by becoming informed your journey becomes better.

One of the reasons why I am here, ahead of others is because I picked the right mentor, followed the ideal teachings and learned from the lessons of others. 

Being hungry to learn, it could save you time and help you avoid some mistakes by learning from someone who have been there. They can give you the precautions on what to avoid or guides to follow.

But choose the right mentor. 

"You cannot ask how to become rich from someone who have never been rich. Nor you can ask how to lose weight from a fat doctor."

Brian Tracy's writings about sales impacted my selling skills,  Les Brown's motivational videos helped me in shaping my mindset and Jim Rohn's recordings allowed my journey to be more comfortable.

Because you are teachable I believe that you are ready.

- Identify the attitude needed for you to succeed in this business. This is a relationship business, the weaker your people skill is, the weaker your business will be.

- Learn how to run the wheel and do not yet reinvent it until you get the result. It's about the basics. Understand the core business skills - prospecting, inviting, presenting and closing. 

- Know your products. This is selling. If I am your customer, I cannot give my hard earned income if I do not know what I am paying for.
